To Live in the Spirit of God

To know, though others cannot see, 
what’s clear and real through faith, to me,
to sing, though others cannot hear,
with Heav’nly choir and symphony,
this is what it means to be
alive in the Spirit of God. 

To love, though others turn away,
the outcast persons of our day,
to walk through blinding hate and fear,
the path of Light, the Truth, the Way,
this is what it means to say,
“I live in the Spirit of God.”

This prayer we sing, I pray for me,
“To follow Christ to Calvary,
to shed with Him the human tear,
to know the love it takes to see
all the world from Calvary,
to live in the Spirit of God.”
