Find Rest for Our Souls

Let us give Him our weariness,
this One Who says, “Come”
Bless the Christ with our burdens,
for Jesus says, “Come.”
With the guilt of a moment,
or the weight of many years, 
find rest for our souls, 
and a river for our tears.

Let us give Him our loneliness,
this One Who says, “Come.”
Make a gift of our grieving,
for Jesus says, “Come.”
With the pain of the moment,
or the weight of many years,
find rest for our souls
and a deep pool for our tears.

Give Him thanks for His gentleness,
this One Who says, “Come.”
Let us share in His welcome,
for Jesus says, “Come.”
Let our worship this morning
change to hope our present fears,
find rest for our souls,
and a rainbow in our tears.
